The RESET for Colleges & Universities
An immersive sound experience for campuses, created and performed by Davin Youngs.
The RESET has filled Finney Chapel at Oberlin College & Conservatory, where Davin studied voice. It brings the same experience to campus theaters, chapels, museums and halls, for groups of 30 to 5,000 students, faculty and staff.
What happens
The evening begins with simple community-building exercises. Then the room turns toward breath, space and sound. Participants lie down or sit on the floor for a 60 to 75-minute ambient concert.
Davin builds the music live, in the room. Improvised singing, layered in real time with live looping. Crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, gong and other sound healing instruments. Electronic beats underneath it all.
Why campuses bring The RESET
- Support for student well-being
- Connection across a campus community, in one shared room
- A creative spark for students thinking about life after graduation
Workshops and residencies
The RESET can be paired with workshops or a short residency. Topics include:
- Creative careers in the healing arts
- Voice and embodied expression
- Improvised singing
- Holistic creative expression
- Mindful music-making
Other themes are available on request.

Technical needs
Your venue provides amplified sound, with a subwoofer preferred. Davin brings a self-contained setup on an 8' x 8' riser that needs only a stereo input to the house mixing console. Participants sit or lie on mats on the floor around or in front of him.
