Universal Preservation Hall
Davin Youngs brought The RESET, his immersive sound healing experience, to Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York. Built in 1871 as a Methodist church, the hall is now a home for live performance.
The RESET invites participants to meet music in a new way. They lie down for a 90-minute immersion in sound. It’s something like a sound bath, with crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, gong, drums, rattles and shakers. But at its heart is Davin’s voice: improvised singing, layered in real time with live looping. Electronic beats join in, and the music becomes a reflection of the inner beauty of everyone in the room.
